Today is the 125th birth anniversary of Dr. Bheem Rao Ambedkar, marked across country as Ambedkar Jayanti. While the entire country has seen a number of socio-political issues rise up in past few months, various ideologies – rigid and evolved, have come to the surface of discourses everywhere. On this occasion, Nirantar- Center for Gender and Education decided to honour Babasaheb and his legacy in which we have found so many answers and forgotten words of wisdom. Looking back through some of his books and essays, we were able to locate the current problems of religion, caste system, nationalism, equal rights, and so much more, being addressed in his words.
